Welcome to the Sydney Mar Thoma Youth Page. The youth group consists of mainly people aged from 16 through to the young at heart, both males and females. We meet twice a week to discuss religion, life, the universe and also to have Bible studies led by our parish priest.
We also have picnics, outings and are trying to help those in those countries who are not as fortunate as we are. One of the highlights every year, is the Australian Mar Thoma Youth Camp which is alternately hosted by the Sydney and Melbourne youth groups. Last year's camp had over 50 people from around australia attending with the theme being "With Christ Into the New Millennium."
In 1997, we started a monthly publication called LiveWire. It provides news, views and other interesting tidbits about the youth in Sydney. Follow the links below to read current and previous issues of LiveWire. It is also good to keep in touch with what the Sydney Youth are currently involved in.
